The most prominent areas of cooperation
As part of its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and develop services, the National Center of Meteorology cooperates with various government and private entities in the following areas:
1. Issuing weather forecast and early warning reports to support decision-making and ensure the safety of lives and property.
2. Providing technical connectivity services and subscription to the Saudi Meteorology Portal to enable seamless access to meteorological data.
3. Installation, operation and maintenance of monitoring stations in multiple locations in cooperation with partners.
4. Providing specialized meteorological services to various sectors such as mining, infrastructure, agriculture, energy, aviation, transportation, and the maritime sector.
5. Providing historical data and climate studies to support national research and projects.
6. Organizing and exchanging training courses, workshops, and collaborative training opportunities to develop competencies and build capacities.
7. Media and marketing cooperation to promote meteorological products and services.
8. Exchange of information and data to support climate research and studies.
