The CEO of the Center, Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, called on the concerned authorities to commit to benefiting from the historical data available in the center's national database and the studies and climate reports it issues before implementing infrastructure projects to ensure their continuity and sustainability and not to be exposed to the risks resulting from various weather phenomena in the future, God willing, especially in light of the climate variables and severe weather phenomena that the Kingdom is witnessing, and the climate reports indicate that their intensity will increase in the next stage.
He pointed out that what some infrastructure projects have been exposed to as a result of the heavy rains that have affected a number of regions of the Kingdom recently, confirms the importance of the commitment to benefit from these data and reports issued by the center, and this is a commitment to the meteorological system in this regard.
Dr. Ayman Ghulam stressed the commitment of the National Center of Meteorology to monitor weather phenomena and support the concerned authorities working in the field, provide them with all information and continuous coordination with them around the clock in accordance with the mechanism of dealing with weather phenomena.
