History of Jabal Al-Rumah

During the Battle of Uhud in 625 CE, Muslim archers were stationed on Jabal al-Rumah to guard the rear of the Muslim army. However, a group of archers disobeyed Prophet Muhammad's orders and left their positions to collect spoils of war, leaving the rear vulnerable. This allowed the enemy to launch a surprise attack from the rear, resulting in a setback for the Muslims. Despite this, the Muslim community rallied and eventually secured victory in subsequent battles. Jabal al-Rumah serves as a reminder of the bravery and commitment of the early Muslims, highlighting the importance of discipline and obedience in times of adversity.
