The Ministry of Meteorology launches the "SIB" platform to manage digital institutional content and documents

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has launched the "SIB" platform, which is concerned with managing the digital institutional content of documents and archives, managing electronic documents and archiving based on the best technical practices and in line with the regulations and regulations of the National Center for Documents and Archives, to represent a unified platform for unstructured content in all departments of the center, and create new horizons to increase productivity at all levels, whether for individuals or for work methods within the departments.

The CEO of the Center, Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, explained that the platform aims at the complete digital transformation of content management and the transfer of information and transactions, indicating that it gives a greater imposition to control the internal, incoming or outgoing content.

The project achieves many goals for the center by providing a highly flexible system in content management, which continuously saves and extracts important information, manages documents confidentially and securely, and allows the ability to keep a record of the various versions created and modified, as well as identifying, classifying, storing, secure, retrieving, destroying or permanently saving records through a user-friendly and intelligent business model.

The "SIB" platform manages the flow and flow of information from its entry into the system to archiving or rearranging it, for better control and performance for employees and departments. The platform includes multiple features and functions, including: productivity, collaboration, registration, document management, archiving, and records management, while providing a mechanism for entering, defining, classifying, and detailing documents, and extracting reports that facilitate the process of content management.
