The CEO of the National Center of Meteorology, Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, received today representatives from the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings related to discussing the organization of the work of non-profit associations in the field of meteorology, in line with the Meteorological Law and its Executive Regulations, in preparation for activating the work of the regulatory requirements.
Dr. Ghulam stressed the importance of direct coordination between the concerned authorities, and taking the necessary regulatory measures to ensure that the activities of non-profit associations are aligned with the approved laws and regulations, in a way that contributes to enhancing compliance, governance of the sector, regulating meteorological services, and supporting sustainable development in the relevant fields.
