The Meteorological Department announces the statistics of the most prominent weather factors affecting the Kingdom during 2025

The National Center of Meteorology announced the most prominent statistics Weather factors that affected the Kingdom's regions during 2025, based on Data of monitoring stations and approved technologies of the center.
The center explained that the average rainfall at the level of the Kingdom reached (58.6) mm. While the city of Jeddah recorded the highest amount of rainfall in a single day with (137.8) mm, while Asir region topped the Kingdom's regions in terms of average rainfall with an average of (103.7) mm.
The statistics showed that (35) weather fluctuations were recorded during the year, in addition to the issuance of (2484) Air Alerts Included in Various Regions of the Kingdom, as part of the Center's Efforts in Warning Early and Raising the Level of Readiness.
In terms of temperatures, the city of Turaif recorded the lowest temperature of (-5) degrees Celsius, while the city of Al-Ahsa recorded the highest temperature of (49.9) degrees Centennial during the year.
The center pointed out that these statistics reflect the diversity and impact of weather factors and climate on the Kingdom during 2025, highlighting the pivotal role of the monitoring system and early warning in support of public safety, raising the efficiency of planning, and enhancing the benefit of Accurate climate data.
This announcement comes as part of the efforts of the National Center of Meteorology in documenting and analyzing data weather, raising the level of climate awareness, and providing reliable information that contributes to supporting the entities beneficiaries and decision makers, according to the goals of developing the meteorological sector in the Kingdom.
