The National Center of Meteorology continues to carry out its operational works and provide its services and meteorological data in Mash'ar Mina, in preparation for the Irrigation Day, within an integrated system that supports safety plans and contributes to facilitating the performance of pilgrims' rituals, in coordination with the concerned authorities working and supporting the holy sites.
The center relies on an integrated system of modern technologies and qualified national cadres to provide the relevant authorities with weather data and possible weather phenomena, through regular updates issued every hour, in accordance with the best international practices in the field of monitoring and forecasting.
The center issues (24) hourly weather bulletins (METAR) and (8) SYNOP bulletins during the watering day, in addition to special reports in case of severe weather phenomena, through 4 mobile automatic monitoring stations, in addition to warning bulletins and automatic warnings through the automatic early warning system when needed, within the monitoring system in Al-Masha'ar, which includes a manned and an automatic monitoring station.
The center also continues its awareness and media programs through a package of awareness services in five languages, addressed to pilgrims and field authorities, with the aim of raising awareness of weather changes and enhancing safety during the performance of rituals.
The center predicted that the maximum temperatures in the Mina Mash'ar will be recorded on the day of Irrigation (45) degrees Celsius, and the minimum (28) degrees Celsius, and active northwesterly to northerly winds at a speed of up to 35 km/h, humidity up to (50%), and partly cloudy skies interspersed with raised dust.
The National Center of Meteorology confirms that it will continue to provide its meteorological services around the clock, in support of the national efforts aimed at providing a safe environment for pilgrims to the Holy House of God, and to achieve the highest levels of tranquility during the Hajj season.
