The Center Launches Weather Bulletins for the Ihram Times to Serve the Pilgrims

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has launched weather bulletins related to the spatial timings of the Ihram and provided them to the concerned authorities to serve pilgrims coming to Makkah through border crossings and highways, as part of its meteorological services system dedicated to the Hajj season.

The bulletins include the expected weather data on the times, including all weather elements such as maximum and minimum temperatures, wind direction, the most prominent expected weather phenomena, chances of rainfall, humidity percentage, and important weather indicators, and they occur daily until the completion of the arrival of pilgrims through the ports, which contributes to facilitating their movements and choosing the appropriate time for ihram and performing rituals.
This comes as an extension of the center's early preparations for the Hajj season, through an integrated system of modern technologies and qualified human and technical cadres, and raising operational readiness to ensure the provision of accurate meteorological services that support the concerned authorities and contribute to serving the pilgrims, in order to achieve the directives of the wise leadership - may God support it - to provide all the capabilities that facilitate the pilgrims to perform their rituals easily and tranquily.
It is noteworthy that the center will hold a specialized workshop on climate impact as part of its work for the Hajj season, with the participation of the relevant authorities, to review the climate record of the holy sites, enhance operational readiness, support the safety of pilgrims, and raise the efficiency of preparations for the Hajj season.
