The Ministry of Meteorology Launches Tomorrow its Training Programs for the Employees of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) will launch tomorrow in Makkah Al-Mukarramah its training programs for the employees of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, as part of its preparations for the Ramadan and Hajj seasons, in cooperation with the Presidency, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of the cadres working in the Two Holy Mosques to respond and take precautions against weather phenomena, in order to achieve the safety and comfort of the pilgrims.

The programs, which are launched under the title "Methods of Responding to Weather Phenomena in the Two Holy Mosques and the Center's Programs and Services", target groups concerned with crisis and risk management, security and safety, awareness and educational media, and officials of the Arenas and Gates Department.

The training program includes a number of main themes, most notably reviewing the challenges related to weather phenomena, and introducing the center's programs and services that support coordination and cooperation efforts with the presidency, with the aim of strengthening precautionary measures and ensuring an effective response.

This initiative comes as part of the ongoing cooperation between the National Center of Meteorology and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, with the aim of raising the efficiency of dealing with weather phenomena and providing quality services to the pilgrims during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons.
