The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced the start of the application of the requirements of the Meteorological Law starting from Tuesday, 10 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 8, 2025, as part of the Center's efforts to raise the efficiency of regulatory procedures in the meteorological sector in the Kingdom, and to achieve the relevant national targets.
The center explained that the requirements of the system include permits and licenses, in addition to organizing inspection mechanisms and violations, in order to ensure the regulation of meteorology-related practices and improve the quality of services provided in this vital field.
He pointed out that the details of the requirements will be displayed on the center's official website, in addition to launching introductory and awareness programs starting from the date of implementation, with the aim of enhancing compliance and achieving the highest standards of efficiency in the implementation of the system.
